North West NSW

In December 2007 we explore the western and north-western parts of NSW within a radius of approx. 400km around Sydney. This has been documented in our Monthly Report December 2007. Therefore, here you will find only some of the pictures. So just lean back and enjoy the spectacular sceneries this region has to offer.

Dorrigo National Park

This park left us lost for words — despite the many leeches (see our Special Report (German only) —, so we decided to have a special section about it on this page. It is part of the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves of Australia (CERRA), a UNESCO World Heritage listed region which consists of eight reserves on around 3,665 square kilometres. Many of the waterfalls above belong to this area as well.
